Broadband Becomes a Legal Right in Finland

Finland has made a declaration to connect every household to the internet and from 1 July 2010, it is the legal right of every Finn to have access to a 1Mbps (megabit per second) broadband connection. Finland’s government believes that the internet is no longer just for entertainment as the country is emerging as an information society.
